I was inspired to create this amazing snack as the sidewalk "igloos and icebergs" here in New York have begun to melt and spring is just around the corner. I naturally crave more fruit as the weather gets warmer, and this seriously hit the spot!

The Smoothie:
1/3 cup frozen Blueberries (or fresh, depending on how cold you want your smoothie)
2 heaping tablespoons of Hemp Seeds
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon Grade B Maple syrup
1/2 cup water
- blend everything well in a high speed blender (necessary to blend the seeds)
I topped the smoothie Michele's organic, gluten- free Gojiberry Cherry- Cashew Granola!
It's got a ton of fiber and protein, especially when paired with the smoothie bowl, not to mention some mega vitamin C and antioxidants to keep your energy levels up up up! Enjoy!
